Spyker has returned with its most powerful C8 yet. The new C8 Preliator XXV Coupé combines unmistakable Dutch craftsmanship, an Audi-sourced twin-turbo V-8 and a six-speed manual transmission to create an exceptionally rare supercar.

789 Horsepower From an Audi V-8

The centerpiece of the new Spyker C8 Preliator XXV is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 sourced from Audi. It produces an impressive 789 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque, almost twice the output of the naturally aspirated V-8 used by the original C8 when it debuted in 2000.

Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. Spyker claims the supercar can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 217 mph.

Classic Spyker Design With Modern Performance

The C8 Preliator XXV remains instantly recognizable as a Spyker. Its handmade aluminum body features flowing lines, intricate metal details and distinctive rose-gold accents. The design also continues the company's long-standing aviation-inspired theme.

Details include fighter-jet-inspired taillights, NACA ducts, intricate front and rear grilles, oval headlights and a new tail fin extending from the roof scoop. The headlights even feature LEDs spelling out “XXV”.

A Supercar Without a Sea of Screens

Inside, Spyker takes a deliberately old-school approach. Instead of a modern dashboard dominated by digital displays, the C8 Preliator XXV uses an aluminum instrument panel filled with analog gauges, physical buttons and switches. The only digital display is the head-up display.

The cabin is covered in luxurious quilted leather in the Tuscan Saddle color, complemented by rose-gold accents. Spyker has also retained one of the most recognizable details of the C8: its exposed gear linkage.

Lightweight Construction and Brembo Brakes

The C8 Preliator XXV weighs approximately 3,147 pounds. It uses unequal-length control-arm suspension at all four corners, while braking performance comes from Brembo four-piston calipers.

The front brakes use 15.0-inch rotors, while the rear axle receives 14.0-inch discs. Combined with rear-wheel drive and a manual transmission, the hardware is designed to deliver an engaging driving experience rather than simply chase numbers.

Only 25 Cars Will Be Built

Exclusivity is arguably the most important part of the C8 Preliator XXV story. Spyker says every exterior panel is formed by hand and that producing a single car requires around 800 hours of work.

Production will be limited to just 25 examples. Spyker has not announced pricing yet, but the combination of extremely limited production, hand-built construction, luxury materials and a 789-hp manual V-8 means this will be a highly exclusive supercar.
